Life is a master, with a whip.
No matter, how much I try, could never slip.
With each learning, leaving a mark.
Every experience, been a nip.
Still, I know,
wherever I park.
The wave of time, will wash away my ship.

Looks in the beginning, like a piece of pie.
Simple two options, to listen to try.
Listening is trait, one in a thousand.
Trials begin, until we fall and cry.
Every fall, puts a scar.
Deeper it is, lesson lasts that far.
Missing a fall, makes the life,
bringing you back, until you tumble and sigh.
With every attempt, aiming for sky,
Failing and pasting, onto my strip.
Still, I know,
Wherever I park,
The wave of time, will wash away my ship.

Life moves on, like a film roll,
All running and jumping, without any goal.
Breaking in youth, I never realized,
Meeting someone, makes life take a stroll.
Falling for her, taking love pledge,
Finding it all, fall over the edge.
Gather the courage, to still stand up.
Though was shaken, to deep my soul.
Broken and firm, scattered still whole,
All those lessons, a bitter sip,
Still, I know,
Wherever I park,
The wave of time, will wash away my ship.

My hair start falling, I am growing old.
The strand they say, ain't grey but gold.
Piling my thoughts, one over another.
Now I listen and speak, only when told.
Now I am responsible, for my daughter's future.
My lady's wish and son's tutor.
They say I have learned, and no more to be taught.
I commit mistakes, but keep them in fold.
Spending and saving, truths I hold.
Ought to be smart, and cannot trip.
Still, I know,
Wherever I park,
The wave of time, will wash away my ship.

The pains and wrinkle.
No winks and tinkle.
Aged I stand, in front of mirror.
Losing my mind and thoughts do sprinkle.
Waiting for death, I've lost my trends.
Lost a few, family and friends.
Colors have lost, to shades of blue.
Still learning the things, I never knew.
Seeing the people, commit mistakes.
Though I tell, the risks they take.
Wishing to pack, my learnings from life.
Putting in ark,
dying to start, another trip.
Still, I know,
Wherever I park,
The wave of time, will wash away my ship.
